Quilting Day 1

Better late than never - it's progress! I have finally started one of two January quilt blocks  :)  The pieces have been cut anyway!  It took a little while to get it done tonight, but once the Moose went down for the night, I was able to squeeze this in before homework time.

The pictures really did not come out well.  There's a lot more yummy orange to the colors than you can see here.  Those strips in the middle are folded in half; they will turn into the asterisk of the asterisk block I'm working on  :)
