First Knitting Project (using needles)

So I actually finished this like 6 months ago, but never finished sewing the buttons.  They were already in place, just needed to be beefed up & tied into place.  It's a merino / acrylic with some kind of waffle pattern (really technical) & they were... well, who remembers the needle gauge? LOL 6 months was a LONG time ago!  I found it tonight while pulling out stuff for the elephant project, which, by the way, is going quite well.

All of the pieces have been cut out, but I'll save the sewing for another night.  I was going to start tonight, but the Moose woke up.  She wasn't too poopy - pretty quiet, but you could hear her moving around in her crib.  I went in, fed & changed her, and put her back to bed.  She ate for almost 30 minutes - YAY!  Since the discovery of solid foods, she doesn't b00bfeed as long or often anymore.  Luckily, it's still the best thing ever first thing in the morning or when she wakes up in the middle of the night for whatever reason.  

Anyhoo, that lovely (almost) 30 minutes reminded me that it's way too late & I was at a good stopping point.  So I finished this lovely neck-warmer instead!  It's for my sissy-poo as a thank you present for a most awesome sister-powered baby shower 11 months ago.   I'll give it to her tomorrow  :)  Yay! for a completed project!!!  And now it's off to bed!
